Overview
During my summer 2024 internship, I was hired as a product management intern on Purolator's technology product team. I stepped into a design role to lead the redesign of a key flow for Purolator E-Ship Online (ESO). I balanced PM tasks with end-to-end design to simplify complex shipping logistics for enterprise users.

Modernizing the Outdated ESO Interface
Purolator E-Ship Online (ESO) is a critical platform for low-to-medium volume shippers, but the interface hadn't been updated in over a decade and friction points had been ignored. While a senior designerled the platform-wide overhaul, I was responsible for the end-to-end redesign of the U.S./International shipment creation flow, one of the most complex and logic-heavy areas of the site.

Redesigns
Leveraging Updated Table Patterns and Import Feature
I generalized the U.S./International page to the Customs page grouping together customs related requirements in one step. I leveraged table patterns from the updated component library and incoporated an Import CSV feature to allow users to easily upload their shipment content information to the Purolator platform.

Address Autocompletion for USA Destinations
I designed a new feature to automatically populate and verify ship to address located in the United States to reduce manual entry errors that result in support tickets and shipment delays. This feature leverages a third party integration with Google Maps or USPS APIs.
