/Nǐ hǎo/你好, I'm Elena.

I'm currently studying Systems Design Engineering @ UWaterloo (class of 2027)

I've completed 5x internships in product design, tackling high-complexity problems across various industries ranging from biotech to ad-tech. I'm comfortable working in fast-paced environments where I can take initiative.

The part of design I enjoy most is sitting down with users. User research and usability testing are where I learn the most: every confused look, click, or “wait, where do I go?” tells me something I couldn't have guessed at my desk. Those moments make me a better designer.
