I'm Elena. My chinese name is 美文 (měiwén). I'm a third-year student at the University of Waterloo studying Systems Design Engineering.
Curiosity and a love for problem-solving led me to explore product design. I’m still early in my journey, but with every opportunity, I’ve learned more and grown.
So far, I've worked across a total of 4 primarily B2B products, which has strengthened my ability to design for complex workflows. I would be open to the opportunity to design for B2C products and create experiences that reach millions of everyday users.
When I’m not designing or studying, you can find me traveling, snowboarding, cooking, doing pilates, painting, playing the piano, or hunting down new food spots (and revisiting past favourites). I also love starting my day with LinkedIn games, my favourites are Sudoku and Crossclimb.
