I'm Elena. My chinese name is 美文 (měiwén). I'm a third-year Systems Design Engineering Student at the University of Waterloo.

Curiosity and a love for problem-solving led me to explore product and UI/UX design. I’m still early in my journey, but with every opportunity, I’ve learned more and grown. I enjoy leveraging data, collaboration, and iteration to create digital experiences with business and user needs in mind.

When I’m not designing or studying, you can find me snowboarding, cooking, baking, travelling, doing pilates, thrifting, painting, playing the piano, hitting the gym, or hunting down new food spots (and revisiting past favourites). I also love starting my day with LinkedIn games, my favourites are Queens and Pinpoint.
